Postby gdawg » Wed Mar 10, 2010 3:47 pm

I was lucky enough to get a 3 month trial to Napster to go. Which i basically download as much music as you like for 3 months YAY  WIN

So i thought id make the most of it while i have it.

So i need some good albums and stuff to download. I like stuff from Soundgarden to Snow Patrol to Metallica.

Anyone know any other good bands? :)

- Audioslave
- Radiohead
- Sigur Ros
- Smashing Pumpkins

If you can hear demo's I would explore for bands you wouldn't usually listen too, you might be surprised of what you could find. ;)

Definitely check out Arjen Lucassen's music, my personal favourite would be The Human Equation from his project Ayreon, but all his stuff is great

It's described as progressive rock/metal but Lucassen calls it a rock-opera, but at any rate, it's great. Heavy guitar riffs, lots of great singers, an awesome story, I could go on and on about this so I'll just leave it at that :D

I might be a bit biased

-A cheap (and I mean cheap) Hudson strat copy
-Stagg (mid-range-ish) acoustic -Richwood soprano ukulele (Fun, fun, fun!)

Surprisingly, the amp is really the only thing that bothers me, I think I got quite lucky with the guitars.
